Have you ordered your costume yet? Don’t be spooked because digging through your closet for a homemade costume will do just the TRICK. It’s a fun time of year - filled with pumpkins, hot cider, treats for kiddos AND adults alike. It even gives us a reason to dive into our favorite horror films *que the hands covering both eyes*. On top of your favorite “at-home” activities, Gahanna has quite the variety of events happening during Halloween this year. Check out the full list below - ranging from a haunted wine cellar, a spooky 5K & more!
The Spooky Shuffle is a family friendly 5K run/walk on the Saturday morning of Halloween Weekend in Gahanna at Creekside. A Monster Mash Dash for kids 10 and younger will occur shortly before the 5K. Awards for the top 3 places in each age category will be given. For those who are more interested in the spirit of Halloween, awards will also be given in multiple costume categories. Each participant will receive a Spooky Shuffle shirt and post-race refreshments. The event starts at 8 AM.
Gahanna Community Chorus, a 501 c3 organization, is hosting the race to support their continued operation as well as provide a community event for all ages.
