Gahanna Woods and State Nature Preserve

Founded in 1973, Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve is a successful effort to save one of the last remaining large stands of woods in central Ohio. The preserve is both a nature lover and bird watcher’s dream, with rare species of vegetation, including some of Ohio’s most exceptional wildflowers, and rarely-seen wildlife. At 50+ acres, the preserve offers plenty of scenic hiking trails and areas for picnicking.
