The 7.9 acre centerpiece of Olde Gahanna wraps along the Big Walnut Creek. Waterfalls, walkways, picnic areas, paddle boats, fishing and wading.
Named for Jane "Bunnie" Geroux, the driving force behind Gahanna being named the Herb Capital of Ohio (1972), Geroux Gardens were dedicated in 2002. Stroll through the Culinary Garden, Scented Garden, Shade Garden, Rock/Biblical Garden, Pond Garden and Medicinal Garden. Explore on your own or set up a tour for groups of 18+ by calling the Gahanna CVB 614/418-9114.
Gahanna's family and dog park features a new playground, canoe launch, fishing, basketball and shelter (available for rent). Canine lovers will enjoy the four acre fenced area where dogs may run off-leash as well as a separate fenced area for small dogs (under 25 lbs.) and an agility area.
